Thanksgiving Dessert Recipes

So I want to make a special dessert for the kids this year for Thanksgiving. We always have the traditional pie... which Lauren doesn't like. (I know, she is crazy!)

Anyone have any cool suggestions or good dessert recipes they would like to share?

Extra Special Homecoming

This year's Razorback Homecoming game was extra special. Ben's Dad, Page- aka "Papaw" came up to visit from Dallas! We had a fun weekend with him. Although, I think we may have worn him out a little bit.... five kids will do that!

Licking the Spoon is the best part!

I made brownies for the kiddos a few days ago. I think the enjoyed licking the bowl and spoon more than actually eating the brownies!

Raffle to help Baby Brooks

Carmen from Keep It Gypsy has decided to have a raffle for a Gift Certificate of 500 dollars of Keep It Gypsy Merchandise to help Angela Lensing (Co Owner of Keep It Gypsy) and Baby Brooks. If you have not heard, Angela delivered her baby early at 27 weeks last week. Baby Brooks weighed only 2lbs 6oz and was 13 inches long.Baby Brooks is currently doing well but, will be in the hospital for several months. Possibly even during the Christmas Holidays. Angela is currently staying around the clock at the hospital with Brooks. This hospital stay will be very expensive. Angela is unable to work during one of the busiest times of the year for the store, therefore bringing in almost no income.Please consider helping Angela, Baby Brooks and Family by purchasing a raffle ticket. Our Trip to Mexico

Ben and I took a much needed vacation together to Cabo San Lucas. Getting some alone time with my hubby was great. Having five kids makes it tough to get time to ourselves. Luckily, my Mom is always ready and willing to help out. Otherwise, our vacation wouldn't have been possible. Thanks Mom! You are such a great Mom and Mimi!

By the way, when our vacation was over... I couldn't get home fast enough to our kids. I missed them so much! Go figure...
